Located north of Utsunomiya City, the Utsunomiya Zoo is a privately-run animal and amusement park. The zoo has 90 species of animals on display and offers guests the opportunity to feed and interact with many of them. In addition to animals, guests can enjoy amusement park rides, which are suitable for children ages two and older.
At the ticketing counter, guests have the opportunity to purchase bags of food for the best chance of interacting with the animals.

Come face-to-face with some of the largest predators in the world in a safe environment.
Walk among playful squirrel monkeys in an enclosed area. They’re known for being small and curious, so don’t be surprised if one of these monkeys jumps onto your shoulders!
Enjoy an up-close-and-personal encounter with a hippo under the watchful supervision of a zoo staff member.
Get close up and watch zoo staff splash the elephant with water and under supervision of zoo staff, you can also feed them for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Enjoy fourteen exhilarating rides, located in the park for guests’ amusement. Tickets for rides are sold separately in the amusement park area.
